The María table was inspired by a traditional hairstyle used by native women in Mexico where they intertwine their braids creating a nice, playful pattern.
MarÌa is a minimalist coffee table inspired by the hair braids commonly used in the traditional Mexican villages.
The table reflects the folklore of a culture. Its intertwined laminated wood is patterned and stilyzed with details in bright colors that give MarÌa a playful character.
It is produced by cutting laminar patterns that allow optimization of the material, creating a sustainable and responsible furniture production.
MarÌa is made of laminar wood that curves around in an endless path.
The graphic pattern is achieved by color transference via silkscreen and it is inspired in the geometric handmade drawings found in vessels from Mata Ortiz, a town in Chihuahua, Mexico.
